Raquel Gottsch Koehler

CEO and Owner of FarmHer

Raquel Gottsch Koehler is the new owner and Chief Executive Officer for FarmHer, Inc., the parent company to FarmHer and RanchHer.  In this role, Raquel oversees innovative marketing, media, event, and public relations strategies to increase the two lifestyle brands’ mission to shine a light on women in agriculture.  Over the past almost 20 years, Raquel has worked alongside her father and sister in growing their family’s company, Rural Media Group, the world’s leading multimedia content provider dedicated to the rural and western way of life and owners of RFD-TV, The Cowboy Channel, The Cowgirl Channel and Rural Radio 147 on SiriusXM.  Most recently, Raquel was CEO of The Cowboy Channel but changed roles within RMG in early 2024 when the opportunity to acquire FarmHer, Inc. was presented to her. Supporting FarmHer has always been an important part of Raquel’s life as for the past 8 years, she has served on the FarmHer Inc. board and was responsible for executive producing FarmHer on RFD-TV during its first season on-air. There has been one common theme throughout Raquel’s career and that is she is very passionate about connecting and providing opportunities for women in agriculture.

Tara Vander Dussen

Podcaster and Environmental Scientist

Tara is a dynamic and passionate individual hailing from the beautiful state of New Mexico. As a fifth-generation dairy farmer, she carries on a proud family tradition rooted in the land. Tara has carved out her own niche as an environmental consultant, speaker, online agriculture advocate, and podcaster. She has been invited to speak at prestigious national and global conferences, showcasing her knowledge and insights on dairy sustainability. As a Co-Founder of Elevate Ag, an online course that empowers farmers and ranchers with the tools they need to effectively share their agricultural stories and grow their businesses, Tara helps cultivate a network of informed and engaged individuals who understand the importance of a thriving agricultural industry. In addition to her entrepreneurial endeavors, Tara co-hosts the popular Discover Ag docuseries and podcast. With each endeavor Tara undertakes, she leaves an indelible mark on the agricultural landscape, inspiring others to embrace sustainable practices and appreciate the essential role of farmers and ranchers in nourishing our world.

Jodi Oleen

Digital Strategist

Jodi Oleen is a digital strategist, relationship builder, and communicator. For the last 15 years she has built relationships and forged innovative digital programs/campaigns that were novel, measurable, and continue to flourish to date. Her passion centers around helping brands and individuals hold meaningful, and mutually beneficial, conversations online. Her educational background includes a master’s degree (MAB) in Agricultural Business Management from the University of Florida in Gainesville.  

Lexi Marek Beeler

Entrepreneur and Consultant

Lexi is a familiar face to the FarmHer team, having joined the company as an intern and its first employee in 2015. She created the event concept for the Grow by FarmHer event series, which reached hundreds of women from across the country, inspiring and connecting them to opportunities within the agriculture industry. Today, she is leading our next event, the Impact Summit by FarmHer. Mark your calendar for November 29, 2023, in Ankeny, Iowa. Lexi was also featured on Season 2 of the FarmHer TV Show with her pig, Phillip, at the Iowa State Fair. She is an Iowa farm girl with a passion for marketing and communications. She is married to Charlie, and together they are two farm kids living in St. Louis, Missouri.

Kirbe Schnoor

Coming to Texas via California, where she was raised on her family’s almond farm in the central valley, Kirbe believes in educating audiences about the agriculture and livestock industries, where their food comes from, the clothes on their back and the people who make it all possible! Kirbe moved to Fort Worth after college to work for Superior Livestock Auction, hosting a daily live broadcast on the cattle market and industry fluctuations that aired on RFD -TV. She went on to be the resident Western Lifestyle and Agricultural Reporter for RFD-TV and The Cowboy Channel, a job that took her cross-country to interview rodeo athletes, livestock exhibitors, entrepreneurs and public figures. From the fields to the red carpet, she’s covered every aspect of western life and culture. 

Crystal Blin

Entrepreneur and Blogger

As a firm believer that you can be both "this" and "that," Crystal Blin has been involved in a wide array of industries and projects throughout her lifetime. Born as a farm girl, Crystal grew up in Alberta, Canada, on her family's purebred cattle farm. Agriculture blessed her in many ways and gave her the opportunity to attend college in the United States on a livestock judging scholarship. After completing her degrees in agricultural communication, journalism, and animal science at Kansas State University, she made the decision to remain in the U.S.

For more than 10 years, Crystal had a career in corporate agriculture, developing marketing initiatives and brand strategies for companies, including the Calgary Stampede, American Hereford Association, American Angus Association, and BioZyme Inc. It was then that she decided to lean into her entrepreneurial spirit. The next chapters in Crystal's life have focused on working with small businesses to share their stories, revitalizing the bowling alley in their small town with her husband Jon, and opening a House of Colour franchise to help people celebrate their authentic selves through image consultation.

Dr. Olga U. Bolden-Tiller

Dean of Agriculture at Tuskegee University

Dr. Olga U. Bolden-Tiller serves as the Dean for the College of Agriculture, Environment and Nutrition Sciences (CAENS) at Tuskegee University (TU) as well as the 1890 Research Director. She holds a BS degree in Agricultural Sciences (Animal Sciences) from Fort Valley State University and a PhD degree in Animal Sciences (Reproductive Biology) from the University of Missouri- Columbia where she matriculated as an USDA-National Needs Fellow. She also currently serves as the co-director for an USDA funded Research and Extension Experiences for Undergraduates, the State Coordinator for the Alabama Youth Institute held in collaboration with the World Food Prize Foundation oversees TU’s Tomorrow’s Agricultural Professionals Symposium and the Past President for the National Society of Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources and Related Sciences (MANRRS). She is also the Tuskegee University Lead for the 1890 Center of Excellence to Motivate and Educate for Achievement/Student Success and Workforce Development. Collectively, Dr. Bolden-Tiller has served as a research mentor for over 60 high school, undergraduate and graduate (MS and PhD) students.  She is the author/co-author of numerous of refereed journal articles and conference proceedings and is an active member of numerous professional societies, serving in leadership roles in many, including the National Society of MANRRS (President [current-past], President-Elect and Historian); American Society of Animal Sciences; National Goat Consortium (Founding Member and Program Committee) and the Society for the Study of Reproduction (Board Member; Public Affairs Committee Liaison and Past Trainee Representative).  For her contributions, Dr. Bolden-Tiller has received several awards.

Cindy Pulskamp

Farmer-Leader at United Soybean Board

Cindy Pulskamp grows soybeans, wheat and sugar beets with her husband, Neal. Their farm is more than 100 years old. Cindy has a background in fertilizer and seed sales administration. She holds an Associate degree in Accounting, a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Operations Management, and a Master of Management degree in Business and Human Resources. This is Cindy’s second year as a farmer-leader with USB. She sits on the Audit and Evaluation Committee and is a member of the Demand Action Team in the Innovation and Technology Priority Area. Cindy has been a member of other commodity boards, both locally and regionally. She currently serves as state secretary of North Dakota Agri-Women and as treasurer of the VFW Auxiliary.

Cindy is an enthusiastic advocate for agriculture and loves to share her farming story.

Emily Steele

CEO and Co-Founder of Hummingbirds

Emily Steele is co-founder & CEO of Hummingbirds, a venture-backed marketing platform that connects place-based brands with community-minded content creators. Her expertise in facilitating authentic partnership experiences across channels drives revenue, increases relevancy, and maximizes relationships. Emily believes the future of retail revolves around real people exploring opportunities and sharing what they love. She built Hummingbirds to highlight the impact a group of enthusiasts can make for ‘mom & pop’ shops, emerging businesses, and established brands alike. Raised in a small Iowa community celebrated for its thriving town square, Emily’s life is steeped in the magic of shopping local. Rhonda Burns

Associate VP of DEI at Nationwide

Rhonda Burns has been with Nationwide for 24 years and currently serves the organization as the Associate Vice President of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. In this role, Rhonda is responsible for associate resource groups, business unit councils, program management, organizational capability building, learning (training), strategic sponsorships, talent optimization, reputational surveys, and award submissions. Her previous experiences include roles in corporate campaign management, project management, strategic operations, direct marketing, regional operations, and leader development program development. She is also a founding member of AWARE, the African American women’s associate resource group here at Nationwide. Rhonda combines her personal and professional passion for inclusion as a driver for her work at Nationwide, but also in the community through board service and volunteerism.

Janey Stahl

Founder of People and Profit

Janey Stahl is the founder of People and Profit, which provides financial and HR consulting to small businesses to improve their culture and profit simultaneously. After working for Fortune 500 companies and small businesses for a decade, Janey began to understand people and profit were not mutually exclusive. When businesses invested in their people, there was an increase in profit. People and Profit’s comprehensive approach has been proven to deliver results: over 30 businesses have increased their employee engagement and profit within 1 year. Janey received her master's degree in business, as well as bachelor degrees in Finance and Human Resources, from the University of Iowa. Janey lives on a farm near Williamsburg, Iowa with her husband and three children.
